Essential Functions: ? Adhere to all health and safety regulations (i.e. proper PPE usage and safe operating practices) ? Adhere to all GMPs (good manufacturing practices) and internal quality standards ? Testing and recording ingredients ? Monitor product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process ? Identify out-of-specification results and escalating to production and quality manager ? Accurate recording of all relevant record logs and documentation ? Perform sanitation verification on equipment and other areas that encompass the environmental testing program ? Ensure the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing ? Ensure documentation and results are recorded timely and are up to date ? Ensure employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices ? Educate employees on food safety, SQF, and quality standards ? Collect product samples for product development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed ? Perform inspections on products, equipment, and machinery Skills: Basic Qualifications: ? Able to work in cold, refrigerated environment ? Able to lift up to 50 pounds ? Able to stand during duration of shift ? Able to use tools to perform repetitive actions during duration of shift ? Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with team members and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Preferred Qualifications: ? Two years of experience working in production environment ? Packaging good manufacturing experience ? Food manufacturing background | |
