Weekly Pay! $15.28/Hour Shift Details : 3rd Shift Start Time : 10:00PM End Time : 06:30AM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: Requirements: High school diploma from an accredited institution and a technical degree in die making or equivalent. Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints. Basic reading, writing, understanding, and interpretation skills in Spanish and English. Knowledge and practical experience using injection molding machines or automated machinery. Knowledge or experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for making minor adjustments to equipment or machinery. Responsibilities: Responsible for reporting damage to inserts or cavities to the Tool Room Supervisor and the Process Engineer. Ensures that all automated equipment within the department is used according to established procedures or following the manufacturers' instructions. Ensures that mold cavities are polished to remove any excess plastic, mineral deposits resulting from water and gas, or any other excess or contaminant. Responsible for applying the appropriate texture, according to the drawing specifications, to mold sections that require it, using sandblasting techniques. Responsible for constructing aluminum dummy parts to replace damaged mold cavities. Constructs and replaces worn or damaged ejector pins in molds. Removes and replaces deteriorated or broken screws in mold bases. Inspects and replaces worn rubber O-rings and performs minor repairs in these cavities. Inspects fluid passages (water or oil), repairs blockages, or replaces fittings on the mold bases. Refines parts that have been welded to the mold. Applying their knowledge and skills, they perform other additional and related tasks that, in extraordinary situations and in any other area, require their intervention, according to instructions from the Tool Room Supervisor or a representative of the business unit. | |
