JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fourth year of high school completed at an accredited institution and vocational or technical course in industrial mechanics.
Minimum of three to five years of practical experience in industrial machinery mechanics.
Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and electronics is necessary for diagnosing and preventing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Bilingualism proficiency in understanding information in both Spanish and English is required.
English communication skills are recommended.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for using and maintaining personal protective equipment or safety devices installed on manual or semi-automatic machinery, as indicated by Occupational Safety.
Notify the Supervisor or designated person of any equipment malfunction and any situation that may pose a risk to Occupational Safety, Quality, or the proper functioning of the machinery or equipment in the area.
Responsible for repairing all mechanical and hydraulic parts of Bodine assembly machines, such as manual, automatic, and ink stamping machines, or any other auxiliary equipment and devices.
Disassemble the units, determine the extent of the damage to the mechanisms, the severity of the repair or defective parts, and reassemble them.
Select the correct materials best suited for the specific purpose of the repairs, following established procedures.
Detect and report to the Supervisor or designated position any unusual conditions, defective materials, or problems, and the specific care that must be taken with the equipment under your responsibility.
Perform any type of setup necessary for the manufacture of required production products.
Responsible for preparing the corresponding documentation for replacement parts orders, complying with established procedures.
Maintain all equipment and machinery in optimal condition in your work area.
Responsible for keeping work areas and common areas clean and organized, following the 5S methodology.
Responsible for maintaining in good condition and making proper use of assigned tools, machinery, or work equipment, such as forklifts, hand jacks, carts, and others.
Operates typical tools such as drills, metal grinding machines, etc., along with accessories to perform grinding, drilling, and rework operations, including the replacement of parts such as bushings, shafts, gears, pinions, and others.
Responsible for coordinating any major repairs with their supervisor and the service department.
Responsible for executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures as established.
Ensures compliance with and adherence to established policies, procedures, and rules regarding Occupational Safety, Quality, Environment, Physical Plant Security, Finance, and other relevant areas.
Performs other related tasks within the work area as instructed by the supervisor or designated personnel.
