Description

JobsRUs.com is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a fast-paced distribution center environment. This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with carriers and vendors, and ensuring all shipping and receiving documentation is completed accurately.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday?Friday, 2:30 PM ? 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Status: Interview Required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Shipment & Receiving Processing
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quality, quantity, and accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents.
Receive, unload, and process deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
Discrepancy Management
Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
Communicate discrepancies to vendors, carriers, and management for resolution.
Inventory Control
Accurately enter received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed.
Vendor & Carrier Coordination
Communicate with freight carriers, truck drivers, and suppliers regarding delivery schedules and dock assignments.
Ensure efficient loading and unloading operations.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
Review and process shipping manifests, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
Print and prepare bills of lading and maintain accurate records for compliance and auditing purposes.
Warehouse Safety & Housekeeping
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.

Qualifications
1?2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience preferred.
Proficient with email, printing shipping documents, inventory software, and basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying quantities, serial numbers, and product codes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements as needed.
Work Environment

This position works in a busy warehouse and distribution center environment. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse noise, and changing weather conditions near loading docks.
