Weekly Pay! $27.00/Hour Shift Details Start Time : 07:00AM or 06:00AM End Time : 03:30PM or 02:30PM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: What You?ll Do: Manufacture and make repairs per instructions and drawings, operate all machine shop equipment (VTL, HBM, Horizontal Lathes, Mill, and etc.), operate overhead cranes and perform rigging, perform incoming and outgoing inspections, and properly fill out all paperwork. Machine Setup: Prepare and maintain machines for pump fabrication and ensure they?re running smoothly. Precision Work: Measure, record, and validate pump components using tools like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, etc, within .0005?. Technical Reading: Analyze design drawings, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accuracy. Versatile Tasks: Operate all manual machinery, support pump teardown and assembly, and follow safety procedures. Safety First: Adhere to safety guidelines for machining, cutting, and transporting equipment. What We?re Looking For: Experience: 5+ years is required. Skills: Ability to work independently, build tools or fixtures with minimal direction, and perform various repair machining activities. Attitude: Strong communication skills, a positive mindset, and a focus on results. Bonus: Welding experience is a plus, but not required. Requirements: Inside manual machinist: A manual machinist?operates tools and equipment to produce or repair precision mechanic pieces. They read and interpret blueprints and designs, set up machinery and perform accurate measurements to ensure products meet the required specifications A Manual Machinist operates manual machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments in accordance with blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instructions. They measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpieces, and calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and depth of cut Manual Machinist Duties: Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to produce precision parts Compute dimensions, tolerances, and layout of workpieces for machining Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpieces Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications Manual Machinist Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to operate manual lathes and milling machines Knowledge of cutting tools and speeds Excellent hand-eye coordination Good manual dexterity Manual Machinist Requirements: Able to operate manually controlled machine tools Knowledge of precision measuring instruments Skilled in blueprint reading and shop mathematics Able to select and use cutting tools Ability to perform a wide variety of machining operations | |
