Quality Control Associate (Food Manufacturing) - Gardena, CA - $17.00 per hour - Full-Time | Immediate Start We are currently seeking a Quality Control Associate for a food manufacturing facility in Gardena, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with quality assurance, food safety, or manufacturing experience who are looking to start immediately. Schedule ? First day start time: 6:00 AM ? Regular schedule varies based on department assignment ? Start times may be as early as 4:30 AM and as late as 6:00 AM ? Overtime may be required based on production needs Responsibilities ? Monitor and control product quality throughout the production process ? Inspect ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met ? Perform product checks using thermometers, scales, metal detectors, and other quality control equipment ? Verify compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and food safety requirements ? Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections ? Inspect incoming ingredients, pallets, and supplies prior to production use ? Identify and communicate food safety and quality concerns; place products on hold when necessary ? Perform sensory evaluations, product testing, allergen testing, and ATP testing ? Participate in internal audits, glass inspections, and quality meetings ? Maintain accurate quality records and documentation Qualifications ? Previous quality control, quality assurance, food manufacturing, or production experience preferred ? Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety, and sanitation practices is a plus ? Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures ? Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ? Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible start times ?
