JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Associate for our client in Garner, NC! Pay $20.00/Hour 1st shift 6 am to 2:30 pm 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. Operate an order picker at heights up to 28 feet within a 200,000+ square foot distribution facility. Associates will use an RF scanner that provides instructions on items to pick and designated placement locations. This role involves repetitive warehouse tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs., and moving large appliances using team-lift procedures. Training is provided for 2?4 days. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Work Environment: Large warehouse facility (200,000+ sq. ft.) Non-climate-controlled environment; temperatures can be hot during the summer months Frequent work at elevated heights Repetitive physical labor Must-Haves: Resume demonstrates stable work history with at least 1 year of recent employment experience Comfortable working at heights up to 28 feet Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely move large appliances using team-lift techniques Nice to Have: PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) operation experience Forklift operation experience Qualifications: Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory management, or related functions preferred Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn product lines and warehouse processes Forklift operator experience is a plus but not required Responsibilities: Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures | |
