Cortech DBA JosbRUs is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for Machine Operator in Watertown, NY Schedule: Monday - Friday Pay $16.00+ DOE Duties and Responsibilities: -Learn proper procedures to produce a part from raw material and order of operations. -Understands the theory of computer numerical controlled machinery, lathe, and mill operation -Responsible for machine maintenance including general cleaning and adjustments -Maintains and adjusts lathe tailstock as needed -Cleans and replaces worn tools as necessary -Inspects machined parts to print specifications using micrometers, calipers, and indicators -Runs secondary operations in drill press area to finish parts -Le4arns proper deburring procedures -Informs supervisor or quality assurance personnel immediately of any defect in parts, equipment, or tools. -Performs general housekeeping duties at workstations on a daily basis.
