Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Schedule: Monday through Friday Shift: Start at 6:30 AM until completion of daily operations (typically 9-10 hours per day) JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker I to join our Seafood Department. This position is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, labeling, palletizing, and preparing seafood products for distribution. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold, wet environment and can safely handle physical warehouse duties while maintaining quality and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Receive, unload, unpack, inspect, and store incoming seafood products and materials Pull and fill orders accurately and efficiently Box, label, palletize, and prepare products for shipment Move materials throughout the warehouse, seafood production area, and cold storage coolers Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as assigned Assist with inventory movement and product storage Periodically enter freezer and refrigerated storage areas to retrieve or put away products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all food safety, quality, and warehouse procedures Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: 0-3 years of warehouse, production, distribution, or related experience Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks preferred Ability to work in a cold and wet environment for extended periods Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements: Regular lifting of up to 60 pounds without assistance Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required on Day One: Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots Dress Code Wear warm clothing appropriate for refrigerated work areas No jewelry permitted No nail polish or artificial nails Must comply with all food safety and PPE requirements Work Environment: This position supports seafood production and warehouse operations and requires working in refrigerated coolers and occasionally in freezer areas. Conditions may be cold, damp, and fast-paced. | |
