2nd Shift - Salary: $28-30.00/hr

Position Summary-
Following established procedures, responsibilities may include some or all the following:
? Properly set up and operate manual and automatic welding systems per work instructions and good welding
practices.
? Positions and adjusts fixtures, attachments, or workpiece on machine, using visual acuity, hand tools and
measuring devices.
? Adjust, within procedural limits, to fine-tune the process to achieve conformance standards.
? Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
? Performs proper pre-weld cleaning and handling of parts.
? Inspects hardware to ensure specifications are met, by visual inspection and measuring devices.
? Maintain a high level of performance while following appropriate procedures and observing all pertinent
safety rules and requirements.
? Maintain work area and equipment in an organized, clean, and FOD-free manner.
? Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications in all appropriate metals.
? Ability to perform set-up and troubleshooting of weld equipment.
? Understand general and weld specific safety issues.
? Provide guidance to less experienced welders as necessary.
? Assist with skill development, safety, and other training of welders.
? Work with Engineering as needed to develop weld processes and resolve weld issues.
? Troubleshoot all weld equipment working in a team environment to maintain operational needs.

Position Qualifications-
? HS diploma or equivalent.
? At least 8+ years of welding or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described
responsibilities.
? Able to become certified to AWS D17.1.2001.
? Able to read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols and quality
requirements.
? Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
? Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
? Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
? Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
? Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
? Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
