Assembler III Medical Device R and D Assembly Pay: Up to $25/hr (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift, flexible start time (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) Employment Type: Contractor Experience Required: 5???8 years Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days Supplemental health insurance available Day 1 Weekly pay every Friday About the Role Jobsrus.com is seeking an experienced Assembler III to support R&D catheter and guidewire development activities. This role involves advanced mechanical assembly, chemical mixing, sample builds, and preparation of components for testing. You will work closely with engineers, follow detailed build protocols, and perform hands???on fabrication using specialized tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced mechanical assembly and sample builds for R&D studies Mix chemical formulations and apply coatings or lubricants to catheters and guidewires Use specialized equipment to heat???form catheter tips and prepare components Photograph, characterize, and prepare samples for conditioning and testing Follow detailed build protocols provided by engineering Conduct fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical device components Perform quality inspections according to specifications Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment as needed Work within defined SOPs and scientific methods Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Preferred Background Mechanical assembly experience Chemical mixing experience Prior work in medical device manufacturing or R&D environments Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Asks clarifying questions to ensure correct understanding Works independently once trained Raises concerns when equipment or processes appear abnormal Team oriented and collaborative Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5 to 8 years of manufacturing assembly experience Ability to read and interpret English specifications and SOPs Basic math skills Ability to use measurement tools (microscopes, etc.) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours Ready to take the next step in your career?
