This position is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical instruments and subassemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong electro-mechanical assembly experience, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and experience using precision mechanical tools. Key Responsibilities Assemble complex electromechanical instruments and subassemblies. Integrate multiple product lines and assemblies into completed instruments. Perform component and subsystem testing. Document production records, serial numbers, tools used, and assembly activities. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Conduct quality inspections according to established standards. Troubleshoot and repair assembly issues using independent judgment. Analyze test results and determine pass/fail criteria. Recommend process improvements and identify product defects. Train and mentor other production associates as needed. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Perform material handling duties for raw materials and subassemblies. Work overtime when required to meet business needs. Attendance Expectations Consistent attendance is critical to supporting production operations. Candidates must be dependable, arrive on time, and maintain reliable attendance throughout their assignment. Punctuality and commitment to scheduled work hours are essential for success in this role. Bonus Opportunity Employees who maintain perfect attendance and successfully complete 90 days of assignment may be eligible to receive a $200 attendance bonus. Eligibility requirements will be reviewed during the onboarding process. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment, or an Associate's technical degree with relevant experience. Electro-mechanical assembly experience in a production environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, including torque drivers, gauges, bits, and hand/power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and specifications. Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Medical device manufacturing experience. Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kaizen experience. Experience training or mentoring team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
