JobsRUs.com is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler I / Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory control and material movement activities within a laboratory and manufacturing environment. This is not a traditional warehouse role and does not involve forklift operation, pallet movement, or large distribution activities. Candidates with SAP, cycle counting, inventory control, and laboratory experience will receive strongest consideration. Pipetting experience is a significant plus. Benefits Weekly Pay Every Friday Supplemental Health Insurance Available on Day 1 Health Insurance After 90 Days Dental Insurance After 90 Days Vision Insurance After 90 Days 401(k) Plan Full-Time Hours Opportunity for Contract Extension Job Summary The Inventory Control Coordinator supports laboratory and manufacturing operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, managing inventory transactions in SAP, and moving sensitive materials between laboratory and operational areas. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in inventory control, materials management, laboratory support, manufacturing support, SAP, and ERP inventory systems. Candidates from biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, research laboratory, or regulated manufacturing environments are strongly encouraged to apply. IMPORTANT: This is an inventory control position within a laboratory environment. This is NOT: ? A forklift position ? A pallet-moving warehouse role ? A distribution center position Candidates with laboratory, biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, inventory control, or materials management experience are strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate - Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliations - SAP experience - Inventory control experience - Laboratory, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device experience - Experience handling sensitive, temperature-controlled, or high-value materials - Strong attention to detail and documentation skills - Pipetting experience is a strong plus Responsibilities Perform inventory transactions and transfer order confirmations in SAP Perform cycle counts and inventory audits Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes Maintain accurate electronic and paper inventory records Support inventory control activities and material movement between laboratory and manufacturing areas. Provide materials to manufacturing and internal customers Process inventory transactions and stock transfers Assist with inventory process improvements Monitor inventory accuracy and integrity Maintain daily inventory metrics and reporting Follow all safety policies and procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives Laboratory Environment Requirements ? Lab coat, hair net, beard net (if applicable), safety glasses, and gloves required ? PPE provided by BD ? Occasional work around hazardous materials in a controlled laboratory environment Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Inventory Control Inventory Management Manufacturing Support Laboratory Support Materials Coordination Stockroom Operations ERP Inventory Management Highly Preferred SAP experience Cycle counting experience Inventory control experience Laboratory environment experience Pipetting experience Biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical device industry experience Preferred Experience Research Associate Lab Operations Technician Sample Management Technician Inventory Analyst Materials Specialist Work Environment Laboratory and manufacturing support environment handling small, delicate, and high-value materials.
