Position: Analyst 2, Demand & Supply Chain Planning
Location: San Diego, CA 92154 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36.54 - $41.35 per hour depending on experience. Final payrate determined at offer.
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Approximately 6 Months)
Interview Process: over the phone with a recruiter and then a virtual Interview via Microsoft Teams with the onsite manager.

Position Overview

JobsRUs.com is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst 2, Demand & Supply Chain Planning to support global trade and free trade agreement (FTA) compliance activities. This role will serve as a key liaison between suppliers, manufacturing sites, procurement teams, and external partners to support Certificate of Origin requests, supplier certifications, and trade compliance documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in trade compliance, customs operations, supply chain support, procurement, or related administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Certificate of Origin and supplier solicitation requests.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing sites, procurement teams, and external partners to obtain required documentation.
Track and monitor outstanding requests to ensure timely completion.
Troubleshoot issues related to FTA certifications and country-of-origin documentation.
Maintain organized records of certifications, supplier communications, and supporting documents.
Follow up with vendors regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
Generate reports and metrics related to supplier response rates and compliance activities.
Maintain master data logs and support documentation updates.
Participate in meetings with internal and global business partners.
Escalate complex issues to trade compliance specialists as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

1-3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, procurement, supply chain support, or administrative coordination.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with documentation, reporting, and data management.

Preferred:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTA), USMCA, Certificates of Origin, or country-of-origin requirements.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Experience supporting global teams or suppliers.
