Pay Rate - $21/hr 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Assurance Technician to support day-to-day activities within the Field Assurance (Complaint Handling) Laboratory. This position is responsible for analyzing complaint-returned samples, documenting results, maintaining laboratory standards, and completing testing in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has laboratory or medical industry experience, strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with laboratory measuring equipment, microscopes, biosafety practices, and cleanroom environments. Key Responsibilities Perform analysis and testing of complaint-returned samples according to established protocols. Complete complaint sample evaluations accurately and within required timelines. Receive, document, decontaminate, store, and dispose of complaint samples in accordance with applicable procedures. Collect, record, and analyze sample testing results accurately. Identify unexpected or abnormal test results and promptly escalate them to the supervisor and appropriate franchise team. Maintain accurate documentation of complaint samples and preliminary/sample analysis results. Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) when completing laboratory records. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable biosafety laboratory procedures. Clean and disinfect laboratory spaces, equipment, and work areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. Operate calibrated laboratory equipment and measuring tools. Follow written testing procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives involving laboratory processes and test methods. Participate in project planning, scheduling, and tracking activities. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal/external customers. Maintain professional working relationships with laboratory staff, support teams, and customers. Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving related to laboratory testing. Complete technical documentation and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate degree in Technical Studies, Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 3?5 years of relevant experience preferred. Medical device, medical industry, GMP, or laboratory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to perform testing according to written procedures and directions. Ability to understand and follow procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Must provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination series, be willing to complete the Hepatitis B series, or sign an applicable waiver. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a GMP-regulated medical or laboratory environment. Experience with laboratory measuring equipment. Experience using microscopes. Familiarity with biosafety laboratory practices. Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Laboratory safety experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with OGP Flash 500 SmartScope or similar optical measurement equipment. Strong oral and written presentation skills. Experience with complaint handling, returned product evaluation, or sample analysis. Experience in a medical device, GMP, laboratory, or cleanroom environment is highly desirable.
