Job Summary
We are seeking a Fabrication Associate to join a busy manufacturing shop that fabricates fire sprinkler and suppression systems. This role involves cutting, measuring, threading, beveling, welding, assembling, and preparing pipe for shipment to job sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial or manufacturing experience, is comfortable operating machinery, and is willing to learn multiple areas of the fabrication process. Candidates currently attending welding school or recent welding school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Measure and cut pipe using tape measures, band saws, and/or torches.
Operate pipe fabrication equipment, including saws, grooving machines, and threading/beveling machines.
Assist with welding and other fabrication processes.
Read and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Assemble pipe orders individually or in bundles.
Move and organize loose and bundled pipe throughout the facility and pipe yard.
Inspect fabricated materials for accuracy and quality.
Assist with bundling, die checking, stacking, and preparing materials for shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform basic machine setup and maintenance.
Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
Cross-train in various areas of the shop as needed.
Required Qualifications
At least 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience.
Hands-on experience operating machinery, preferably saws or other fabrication equipment.
Basic fabrication knowledge and familiarity with industrial tools.
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working with pipe and sheet metal throughout the day.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attendance and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Preferred Experience
Welding experience or current enrollment in welding school.
Recent welding school graduate.
Experience operating universal welders.
Experience with grooving, threading, or beveling machines.
Previous pipe fabrication or heavy industrial experience.
Forklift experience.
