Medical Device Assembler ? 1st Shift Schedule: 5:45 a.m.?2:15 p.m. Pay: $10.50 per hour Shift Availability: Candidates must be available to work second shift when required. Job Type: Full-time Position Summary We are seeking a Medical Device Assembler to assemble, inspect, package, and label medical device components in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions in a clean-room environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble medical device components into finished products. Use manufacturing tools and equipment, which may include welders, soldering equipment, ovens, autoclaves, microscopes, magnifiers, scissors, and knives. Package and label medical device components according to established procedures. Inspect completed work visually and under a microscope when required. Review coworkers? work and provide constructive feedback based on procedures and quality guidelines. Report quality concerns, work issues, and changes in equipment performance to the supervisor. Rework units when required and according to approved procedures. Verify equipment settings and parameters to ensure precise assembly and inspection. Follow work-order instructions and technical drawings. Use computers to review drawings, verify work-order status, and enter parts information. Reconcile inventory at the beginning of the shift and when transitioning to a new work order. Accurately record traceable information in device history records and applicable systems. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality System requirements. Properly handle, store, and dispose of waste according to company procedures and applicable regulations. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Required Qualifications Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly procedures. Ability to learn, retain, and apply manufacturing training. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and understand English sufficiently to review work orders and system information. Basic computer and mathematics skills. Ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to work in a clean-room medical device manufacturing environment. Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts when required. Availability to work the first-shift schedule from 5:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and second shift when needed. BD04123JD | |
