2nd Shift MIG Production Welder Schedule: Monday?Friday, 3:00p-11:00p Position Summary We are seeking an experienced MIG Production Welder to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will primarily involve welding galvanized sheet metal ranging from 20-gauge to 12-gauge (.04?.10 inches) and fabricating metal equipment and structures. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG welding skills, experience working with thin-gauge materials, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds while following blueprints, specifications, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on galvanized sheet metal and metal structures. Weld thin-gauge materials ranging from 20-gauge to 12-gauge. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and work instructions. Measure materials and verify dimensions for accuracy. Operate welding equipment and related production machinery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines. Required Qualifications Strong MIG welding experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Experience welding thin-gauge metal. Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications. Ability to use basic measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs. as required. Weld Test & Interview Requirements All candidates must successfully complete a weld test during the interview process. Candidates must bring: Welding helmet Welding sleeves Steel-toed shoes PPE: Safety glasses/shield, smock/apron, ear plugs, work gloves, and steel-toed shoes are required. | |
