JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Warehouse Worker for our client in Jackson! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $15.82/Hour Shift:2 PM - 1030 PM (30 minute lunch) Working Days: Monday - Friday or Sunday -Thursday. The manager will decide when the offer is extended. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer I to perform a variety of manual labor tasks in support of warehouse, transportation, and facility operations. This position is ideal for individuals with 0-3 years of experience who are comfortable working in physically demanding environments and following established procedures and safety guidelines. The selected candidate will work under direct supervision and perform assigned duties with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Sort, repair, and/or dispose of pallets as needed. Relabel cases and pallets to ensure accurate inventory identification. Restack cases and pallets in accordance with operational requirements. Assist with warehouse, facility, and general labor tasks as assigned. Operate equipment safely and responsibly following company procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times. Perform additional manual labor duties as needed to support daily operations. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-3 years of experience in general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong attendance and reliability. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Willingness to accept and complete assigned tasks as directed by supervisors. Work Environment Must be able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including temperatures ranging from -10°F in refrigerated/freezer areas to outdoor heat conditions as dictated by seasonal weather and heat indexes. Must be comfortable working in high places and confined spaces when required. Position may require working indoors, outdoors, and within warehouse or industrial environments. Equipment Experience Preferred Experience operating or working around the following equipment is a plus: Manual pallet jacks Electric pallet jacks Forklifts Scissor lifts Boom lifts Floor scrubbers/scrapers Additional Information Works under immediate supervision and follows established procedures and guidelines. Primary responsibilities do not typically require independent judgment. Reports directly to a supervisor or manager. Interviews will be required as part of the selection process. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of labor-intensive tasks. They are comfortable working in challenging environments, including extreme temperatures, elevated work areas, and confined spaces, while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. | |
