Job Description: Warehouse General Laborer Position Title: Warehouse General Laborer Department: Warehouse & Logistics Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Warehouse General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will handle day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving goods, sorting inventory, packing orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming freight, inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and stage products in designated areas. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and label orders accurately according to pick lists to prepare items for shipment. Inventory Handling: Sort, stack, palletize, and store merchandise on shelves or racks. Assist with regular inventory counts and audits. Material Movement: Safely operate manual handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts to transfer goods throughout the facility. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work zones, aisles, packing areas, and loading docks clean, swept, and free of safety hazards or trash. Equipment & Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA standards, company safety procedures, and proper lifting techniques. Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors. Requirements & Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Experience: Prior warehouse, general labor, material handling, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are welcome. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift continuously throughout a shift. Ability to comfortably lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted. BD04123JD | |
