JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an Accounting Clerk for our client! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Fully Remote Position! Pay Rate - $23.50/hr 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm in any time zone. Must be online for core hours of 10am-2pm PST Job Description The Accounting Clerk will report directly to the finance manager and will be working the VP of legal and general counsel. - Support day-to-day legal billing operations, including invoice processing and general accounts payable activities. - Monitor the legal billing inbox, responding to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries. - Deliver responsive, high-quality service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers. - Review invoices for accuracy and confirm that negotiated discounts and agreed-upon billing arrangements are appropriately applied. - Set up and maintain legal matters within the applicable billing systems. - Assist with accounts payable projects and other operational priorities as assigned. - Experience with Brightflag or a comparable legal billing platform is a plus. - Experience with the Zip intake and orchestration platform is a plus. Day to Day responsibilities: Communication with vendor, internal & external communication, invoicing, review, update approvals, manage legal inquiries, financial admin lift of all legal spend, etc. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years understanding of finance MUST have Brightflag experience (which is the legal billing tool). Any candidate that has this experience will have what we are looking for as they must understand legal accounting. Must have an understanding of the legal invoicing info and remain very secure/confidential. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and extremely professional/sharp, as you will be working with legal entities. | |
