Machine Operator I Pay: $23.50?$37.10/hr, depending on experience. Target entry-to-mid range; do not submit candidates at maximum rate. Include pay expectations in FG comments. Schedule Options: 1st Shift: 3:30 AM?2:00 PM or 4:30 AM?2:00 PM, Mon?Thurs 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM?1:00 AM, Mon?Thurs Weekend Shift: 5:00 AM?5:30 PM, Fri?Sun Job Summary: Set up, program, and operate industrial machines to form, cut, bend, size, and machine aerospace components made from Nickel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium alloys. Responsibilities: Set up and operate machines to produce quality parts within customer tolerances. Read and follow work instructions, sketches, drawings, and manufacturing documents. Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify tolerances. Select and properly use machine tooling. Perform shop mathematics related to machining operations. Complete manufacturing planning and paperless timecard documentation. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Ask for clarification when instructions or specifications are unclear. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Experience with machine tools, tooling, and precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of manufacturing plans and technical sketches. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to perform machining-related shop math. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical movement, climbing, balancing, and material handling. Ability to work safely in an aerospace manufacturing environment. | |
