Assembler ? Hose Coil / Pressure Test / Hose Assembly

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assembler to join our Hose Assembly team. This position is responsible for assembling and pressure testing hose products while maintaining quality, productivity, safety, and accuracy standards. Production experience is preferred but not required; full on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and pressure test hose products according to customer specifications.
Review work instructions, drawings, setup sheets, tooling requirements, crimp dimensions, and pressure ratings.
Pull and inspect hose, tubing, and other components needed to complete orders.
Verify hose and crimp dimensions against drawings and specifications.
Identify special instructions and customer requirements.
Create product labels and accurately complete production and quality records.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
Monitor equipment and identify unusual sounds or operating conditions.
Report equipment or production issues to the Team Lead and work with Maintenance when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Production or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and measurements.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
Good communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to remain alert to equipment operation and product quality.

Training:

Approximately 1?8 weeks of on-the-job training, with training potentially extended up to 10 weeks based on individual needs.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Regularly bend, twist, turn, reach, squat, kneel, push, pull, and lift.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to lift items above shoulder level.
Requires good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment with potentially high noise levels.
Exposure to operating machinery and moving reels.
Required PPE includes steel-toe shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime with short notice.
