Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire & Security Technician/Installer to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity responsible for installing, programming, testing, and commissioning fire and security life-safety systems at commercial and industrial job sites.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, able to follow technical instructions, and takes pride in performing quality work.

Key Responsibilities
Travel daily to commercial and industrial job sites throughout North Carolina.
Install fire and security life-safety systems according to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
Pull, route, and terminate wiring.
Mount and install system devices and equipment.
Assist with system programming, testing, and commissioning.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and system prints.
Complete installation documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, contractors, and customers.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Work overtime, stay late, or work outside standard hours when required by project needs.
Qualifications
Ability to pass a North Carolina background check.
Valid, clean driver's license.
Previous construction experience preferred; approximately 1 year of experience in construction, electrical, low-voltage, or a related trade is a plus.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard software tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and system prints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned job sites.
Willingness to learn fire, security, and life-safety system installation.
