Position Summary
We are seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position involves assembling manufactured and purchased components into subassemblies or completed products. Products may contain mechanical components, electrical components, or a combination of both.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who is interested in developing their manufacturing skills and advancing to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or completed products according to specifications.
Read and understand blueprints, routings, work orders, and assembly instructions.
Perform first-piece inspections and subsequent inspections to ensure product quality.
Operate assembly equipment, including:
Rivet machines
Assembly presses
Power tools
Other manufacturing/assembly equipment
Ensure completed assemblies meet established quality requirements.
Perform routine care and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all machine-operation and machine-guarding requirements.
Complete basic reports related to productivity, quality, and safety.
Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain sufficient production pace while ensuring accuracy and quality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical experience preferred.
Ability to assemble mechanical and/or electrical components.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, routings, work orders, and written instructions.
Ability to operate basic assembly equipment and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic reading and writing skills sufficient to follow work instructions and complete simple production reports.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to visually inspect components and finished assemblies.
Must be able to frequently stand, sit, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
All required tools will be provided by the site.
