Vaccine Packaging Operator ? 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $18.01?$19.28 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, Hours: 2:30 PM ? 11:00 PM


Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Vaccine Packaging Operator to support the labeling, inspection, and packaging of finished vaccine products. This position is responsible for operating packaging equipment, meeting production targets, performing quality inspections, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operate packaging equipment, including labelers, pick-and-place systems, heat tunnels, vision systems, forklifts, and related machinery.
Label, inspect, and package finished vaccine products accurately and efficiently.
Monitor production processes and ensure target line rates are achieved.
Perform equipment setup and changeovers according to established procedures.
Perform initial troubleshooting of packaging equipment and escalate issues when necessary.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards.
Complete required cGMP documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
Read, understand, and comply with GMP requirements and SOPs.
Prepare and complete QA line clearances, including small-volume production lines.
Complete batch records/tickets and accurately document materials consumed during production.
Monitor processes against manufacturing records, data capture forms, and SOPs.
Communicate production needs, progress, process issues, and facility or inventory concerns to the Shift Line Leader or Supervisor.
Participate in daily performance reviews and team activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Maintain production equipment and facilities as required by SOPs.
Cross-train in other departmental functions as needed.
Provide feedback regarding proposed process improvements.
Follow defined production process sequences.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Line Leader or Supervisor.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
2?3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
Experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment.
Equipment or process troubleshooting experience.
Strong attention to detail and quality-conscious approach.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to follow detailed procedures, SOPs, and documentation requirements.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred
5+ years of related manufacturing or packaging experience.
Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a GMP/cGMP environment.
Forklift certification.
Experience with packaging equipment, labeling systems, vision systems, or automated production equipment.
Associate degree or equivalent technical/manufacturing experience.

Compensation
