Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, performance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility utility systems. This position will independently perform maintenance activities while following established maintenance practices, safety requirements, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial utility systems and equipment, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility utility systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems to maintain reliable operations.
Support the proper maintenance and performance of clean utilities, cleanroom HVAC, power plant/utilities, and high-purity water systems.
Monitor and maintain utility systems to support manufacturing operations.
Independently identify equipment issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Perform maintenance activities in accordance with good maintenance practices and established procedures.
Support system reliability and minimize equipment downtime.
Follow all applicable EHS policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate equipment issues or operational concerns as needed.
Work effectively with manufacturing and other technical teams to resolve maintenance and reliability issues.
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Technical Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience, training, or technical knowledge in several of the following areas:

Boilers and plant steam systems
Compressed air systems
Centrifugal chillers
Cooling towers
Process chilled-water systems
RO/DI water systems
High-purity water (HPW) systems
Clean steam systems
Generators
Electrical systems
Industrial/manufacturing utility systems
Equipment troubleshooting and repair
Qualifications
Required

Option 1:

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing.

OR

Option 2:

Associate degree or technical degree in a relevant field.
2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Additional Qualifications
Intermediate-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Knowledge of and commitment to EHS requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance activities.
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
