Pay Rate - $25/hr 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Laboratory Testing Technician to support laboratory testing and documentation activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable following established testing protocols, handling chemicals and cleaning agents safely, recording test results accurately, and communicating observations or unexpected results to the appropriate team members. Medical device industry experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided on applicable testing procedures, chemical handling, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities * Perform laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and training. * Maintain accurate, complete, and organized records of all testing performed. * Manually record data on data collection forms and accurately enter test information using a computer. * Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all applicable laboratory safety procedures. * Handle chemicals and cleaning agents safely while following established safety protocols. * Wear appropriate PPE, including lab coats, gloves, and protective eyewear, as required. * Review test methods and recognize deviations from expected results or established procedures. * Monitor test progress and provide timely updates to test requestors. * Promptly and clearly communicate observations, anomalies, or unexpected results identified during testing. * Work effectively with team members and adapt to changes in testing protocols or procedures. * Recognize situations requiring escalation and promptly notify the supervisor and/or test owner. * Maintain a high level of attention to detail when performing repetitive testing and documentation tasks. * Follow all applicable company policies, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements. Qualifications Required * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Effective verbal, written, listening, and reading skills in English. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. * Ability to follow written procedures, protocols, and training instructions. * Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter data. * Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency. * Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE. Preferred * Previous experience in the **medical device industry** or a laboratory environment. * Experience with laboratory testing, documentation, or data collection.
