JobsRUs is seeking 1st Shift Electronic Components Quality Inspectors for an electronics company in Wood Dale, IL. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with electronic components, and interested in a temp-to-hire position. Location: Wood Dale, IL Schedule: Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM?4:30 PM Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Conversion: Eligible for permanent hire after 90 working days Key Responsibilities Electronic Component Inspection & Damage Assessment Inspect incoming electronic parts and components, including motherboards, laptop screens, docking stations, RAM, SSDs, and related equipment. Identify components for signs of physical damage, defects, or customer-induced damage (CID). Accurately document the type and extent of damage found on each unit before processing. Escalate unclear, borderline, or unresolved inspection findings to the Team Lead for review. Data Entry & System Processing Enter required information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including part number (PN), serial number (SN), country of origin (COO), and manufacturer information. Verify that all information entered into the system accurately matches the physical component before generating labels. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the inspection and data-entry process. Labeling & Routing Print the appropriate label for each component based on WMS instructions, including assigned repair vendor or warranty status. Apply labels accurately and securely to each unit. Route inspected components through the conveyor system to the appropriate destination. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable inspecting small electronic components. Previous experience in quality inspection, electronics, warehouse operations, computer hardware, repair, or manufacturing is a plus.
