Position Overview We are seeking a reliable receiving associate to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming inventory, verifying materials, staging products, and placing inventory in the correct warehouse locations. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse and forklift experience, is comfortable working at elevated heights, and can accurately use RF scanners and read packing slips. Key Responsibilities Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials. Put inventory away in designated warehouse locations. Operate forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and/or cherry pickers safely. Use RF scanners to track and locate inventory. Read and interpret packing slips and shipping documentation. Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Assist with inventory organization and movement throughout the warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines. Assist with moving materials weighing up to 100 lbs. using appropriate equipment. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: At least 1 year of warehouse experience. Sit-down forklift and/or cherry picker experience. At least 6 months of RF scanner experience. Forklift operation experience is required. Ability to read and understand packing slips. Comfortable working at heights of up to 25 feet. Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs. with equipment assistance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Preferred: Previous shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory experience. Experience working with pipe, industrial products, or similar materials. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn product information. Work Environment This is an active warehouse position requiring frequent material handling, equipment operation, inventory movement, and work at elevated heights. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and following established safety procedures.
