Position Overview We are seeking a Vaccine Packaging Operator to support the labeling, inspection, and packaging of finished vaccine products in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position will operate packaging machinery, perform equipment setups and changeovers, inspect finished products, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete required production documentation. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Label, inspect, and package finished vaccine products. Operate packaging equipment, including: Labelers Pick-and-place equipment Heat tunnels Vision inspection systems Forklifts Operate equipment while maintaining required production line rates. Perform equipment setup and changeovers. Perform initial troubleshooting of packaging equipment and process issues. Inspect products accurately and efficiently according to established quality standards. Prepare QA line clearances, including small-volume production lines. Complete batch tickets and accurately document materials consumed during production. Monitor production activities against manufacturing records, data capture forms, and SOPs. Complete required cGMP documentation accurately, completely, and on time. Read, understand, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow established manufacturing processes and defined process sequences. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Maintain facilities and equipment according to established SOPs. Cross-train in other departmental functions as needed. Participate in daily team performance reviews. Provide feedback regarding potential process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Line Leader or Supervisor. Communication & Teamwork Communicate processing needs with coworkers and other functional groups. Provide regular progress updates to the Shift Line Leader and/or Supervisor. Promptly communicate process occurrences, equipment issues, or other concerns through the appropriate escalation process. Communicate facility, equipment, and inventory needs. Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and timelines. Safety & Compliance Follow all applicable GMP, SOP, quality, and safety requirements. Demonstrate commitment to the company's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) program. Work safely and responsibly at all times. Identify and report unsafe work practices, conditions, or behaviors. Maintain compliance with established manufacturing and documentation procedures. Required Qualifications 2?3 years of manufacturing experience. Hands-on experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment. Equipment or process troubleshooting experience. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to read and follow detailed written procedures and manufacturing instructions. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of related manufacturing experience. Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing experience. Forklift certification. Experience operating automated packaging or labeling equipment. Experience with batch records, manufacturing documentation, or GMP procedures. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. | |
