Pay Rate - $21/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center. Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) ? Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS. ? Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents. ? Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage. ? Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations. ? Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation. Education and Experience: ? High School Diploma or GED Must have slipsheet operation experience Knowledge and Skills: ? Ability to obtain a forklift certification. ? Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. ? Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner. ? Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. ? General distribution knowledge. ? Proficient in the use of a PC. ? Strong initiative and drive for results. Physical Demands: (if applicable) The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers. The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all.
