Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineering Technician III provides hands-on technical expertise to improve manufacturing equipment, processes, tooling, and safety systems. This role supports the development and improvement of manufacturing capabilities while providing support to facilities and equipment maintenance functions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in factory or machine shop equipment maintenance, along with advanced fabrication, assembly, and industrial systems experience. Required Qualifications ? Non-Negotiable 5?7 years of relevant manufacturing, engineering technician, equipment maintenance, or machine shop experience Factory or machine shop equipment maintenance experience Advanced fabrication and assembly skills, including: MIG/TIG welding Sheet metal fabrication Pneumatic systems Advanced knowledge of industrial systems, including: Electrical systems Plumbing Mechanical systems Hydraulic systems High-pressure compressed gas systems Ability to read, follow, and create: Schematics Blueprints Technical documents Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to identify a problem, develop an appropriate solution, and execute the solution Highly motivated and able to work independently Ability to create and maintain project timelines, priorities, and goals Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Organized with the ability to maintain accurate records of work performed High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise to improve the manufacturing capabilities and safety systems of equipment. Develop and implement engineering solutions that improve the manufacturing of new and existing products. Create, upgrade, monitor, and maintain complex production tools, equipment, and limited infrastructure. Improve fabrication processes that support operational efficiency and growth. Create and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and systems. Participate in the introduction of new products into manufacturing and supply chain operations. Support manufacturing and development activities for new and existing products. Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing issues using a systematic and analytical approach. Provide support to facilities and equipment maintenance functions as needed. Work within established procedures, requirements, and safety policies to meet objectives and deadlines. Maintain organized documentation and records of completed work. Communicate technical information effectively and collaborate with team members to drive projects to completion. Promote new ideas, continuous improvement, and positive change within the manufacturing environment. Exercise independent judgment and discretion when addressing significant technical and operational matters. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience using CAD tools Experience creating or maintaining project timelines Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives Strong teamwork and team-building skills Ability to promote and implement new ideas and process improvements Work Requirements Consistent and punctual attendance is required. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.
