Job Summary We are seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Assembly & Packaging Associate to support routine manufacturing operations in a multi-product pharmaceutical/biotechnology facility. This position will work as part of a team performing assembly and packaging activities for drug products while following established SOPs, cGMP requirements, safety procedures, and controlled documentation practices. The Associate will assist Senior and Master Associates with the setup, operation, and changeover of automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment, including autoinjector and pre-filled syringe assembly machines. Responsibilities may include gathering tools and equipment, retrieving components and materials, assisting with equipment troubleshooting and minor adjustments, maintaining production areas, and moving products and components throughout the manufacturing area. Additional responsibilities include ensuring materials and supplies are properly stocked, assisting with room cleaning and sanitization, completing batch records and equipment logbooks, verifying equipment calibration, and documenting production activities in accordance with established procedures. The Associate may also assist with visual inspection and filling operations when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a team-based manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to read and follow written instructions, perform basic mathematical calculations and conversions, communicate effectively, and learn basic computer systems including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Previous experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment is strongly preferred. This position requires frequent standing and walking in a manufacturing environment and the ability to follow strict safety, quality, documentation, and cleanliness standards. Qualifications High school diploma required. Minimum 1 year of work experience in a GMP-regulated industry required. Associate or Bachelor's degree, biotechnology training, or vocational training preferred. Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Ability to follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, and controlled documentation procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Ability to perform basic math calculations and conversions. Must be able to obtain and maintain required manufacturing qualifications. This is an entry-level manufacturing position with an emphasis on pharmaceutical assembly, packaging, equipment support, and GMP compliance. | |
