Schedule: Monday?Thursday | 3:30 PM?2:00 AM Pay Rate: $22.00/hr ($20.00 base + 10% shift differential) Req #: 68960 We are seeking a Production Assembler I to perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small components. This position is ideal for someone with strong manual dexterity, good mechanical aptitude, and experience working with small parts and hand tools. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components. Follow shop travelers, route cards, work instructions, and basic schematic drawings. Work with very small components such as ceramic boards, crystals, gauges, fine pins, fire wire, solder particles, and epoxy. Use tweezers, positioning fixtures, and binocular microscopes to accurately position small components. Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base components. Apply epoxy to bond or seal parts and assemblies using heating elements or ovens. Perform in-process testing and inspect work for accuracy and quality. Follow all safety policies, manufacturing procedures, and company guidelines. Maintain consistent and punctual attendance and support additional hours when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 6 months?2 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience. Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and light machinery. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail, particularly when working with very small components. Basic math skills. Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions, safety procedures, and company documents. Ability to troubleshoot straightforward issues by following established procedures.
