Job Summary:
The Contracts Administrator will support the front-end intake process for aftermarket products and administer moderately complex customer contracts. This position will review purchase orders and contract requirements, prepare proposals, monitor contract performance, support negotiations, and ensure compliance with contractual, legal, regulatory, and company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree and 1?2 years of contract administration experience, preferably supporting military/government contracts or the aerospace industry. Strong customer communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent calls and outreach to customers to review contract details, resolve issues, and provide updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer customer contracts and review purchase order requirements.
Analyze pricing, delivery schedules, terms and conditions, and contractual obligations.
Support the preparation and submission of RFP/RFQ proposals.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical, cost, delivery, and other proposal requirements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, delivery schedules, and other contract provisions.
Communicate directly with customers regarding contract details, updates, issues, and requirements.
Investigate and resolve customer claims and complaints.
Monitor contract financial performance and delivery status.
Identify contract amendments, extensions, and out-of-scope customer changes.
Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned contracts.
Support export compliance activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations.
Maintain contract documentation and business records.
Apply Lean principles to improve processes and develop standard work.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field.
1?2+ years of contract administration/contract management experience.
Experience reviewing contracts, purchase orders, terms, and conditions.
Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Comfortable calling customers and proactively providing updates.
Ability to read, interpret, and analyze moderately complex contract language.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
Proficiency with standard Microsoft/business software.

Preferred:

Military/government contract experience.
Aerospace industry experience.
Contract management certification or currently pursuing certification.
Knowledge of government procurement and export compliance.
NCMA or related contract-management experience.
