Job Summary-
Seeking a Fabrication Associate to support the production of fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems. This position involves cutting, measuring, threading, beveling, grooving, assembling, bundling, and preparing pipe for shipment to job sites.

This is a hands-on manufacturing/fabrication position, not a welding role. Candidates with industrial, manufacturing, machine operation, pipe fabrication, or general fabrication experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates currently enrolled in welding school or recently graduated from welding school may also be considered if they have the required industrial experience and are interested in learning the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities
Operate fabrication equipment including band saws, grooving machines, and other shop machinery.
Measure and cut pipe accurately using tape measures, band saws, and/or torches.
Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
Assist with pipe fabrication, assembly, bundling, and preparation for shipment.
Move loose and bundled pipe throughout the pipe yard.
Perform die checks and other quality checks as required.
Maintain organized work areas and production supplies.
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Properly set up and maintain fabrication machinery.
Follow all safety procedures when cutting, fabricating, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
Inspect and maintain forklift equipment in safe working condition.
Learn multiple functions throughout the shop as training progresses.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
6+ months of recent industrial/manufacturing experience
Machine operation experience, particularly saws
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Basic math skills
Some fabrication or hands-on mechanical experience
Ability to work with pipe and sheet metal
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment
Strong safety awareness
Dependable and willing to learn
Strong work history/tenure preferred
