Job Summary The Winder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating wire-winding equipment to manufacture bobbins according to production specifications. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to maintain continuous machine operation in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate bobbin winding machines according to manufacturing specifications and detailed work instructions. Thread wire through winding equipment and adjust counters to meet required footage specifications. Refill oil containers as needed to support machine operation. Record production data in the WW2 system for accurate product labeling. Place completed bobbins on designated wire tables and produce bobbins according to inventory requirements. Maintain continuous operation of bobbin-winding machines to meet production goals. Retrieve materials from the warehouse as needed. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices. Follow all established safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures. Identify and report production issues, equipment concerns, and unusual conditions to the appropriate team lead. Minimize material waste by operating equipment efficiently. Perform other related duties as assigned. | |
