Operates Wire Winder. Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, following detailed instructions accurately String wire through bobbin winders, adjust counter to necessary footage, fill up oil container as needed Record the necessary data on WW2 for labeling Place finished bobbins on wire table, make wire bobbins according to inventory on wire table Keep all bobbin machines operate continuously Pull material from warehouse as needed Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines Report production issues to direct lead Perform work on an equal or lower classification Detect and report problem areas or unusual conditions to the Value Stream Team Lead. Perform related and other duties assigned by the Value Stream Team Lead. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately. Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner. Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
