JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Sanitation Specialist for our client in Chattanooga, TN! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $ 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm Job Description Responsible for removal and transport of all recycling and waste (to include solid waste, regulated medical waste, universal waste, pharmaceutical, RCRA/hazardous waste). Also able to perform general Hospitality Associate, Environmental Services I duties when needed. Major Responsibilities: ? Adhere to safety and sanitation policies. ? Adhere to policies related to storage, handling and disposale of RMW(regulated medical waste), RCRA/Hazmat, soild waste and universal. ? Maintain and adhere to Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards at all times ? Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazardous Waste training and maintains proficiency. ? Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions. ? Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards ? Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement. ? Manage service recovery as needed. ? Maintains cleanliness of waste holding/storage areas ? Delivers clean and removes solid linen as needed ? Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization. ? Participate in team and individual employee training. ? Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry. ? Manage waste/recycling in order to meet/exceed facility waste and recycling cost goals. ? Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to minimize waste. ? Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking ? Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: ? High School Graduate or Equivalent. ? 1 + years of experience in healthcare ? 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field | |
