|
RESPONSIBILITIES ? Perform receiving inspection of purchased material and in-process and final inspection of in-house manufactured and assembled parts, to verify compliance with blueprints, specifications, and contractual requirements. ? Work independently on assigned tasks, performing inspections and documentation reviews using blueprints, specifications, and visual inspection methods. ? Perform dimensional inspection and apply GD&T to verify hardware conformance to drawings and specifications. ? Perform inspections using standard hand and bench tools, including calipers, micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages, protractors, and dial/drop indicators. ? Verify that measurement tools are within calibration prior to use, and report any out-of-calibration or suspect equipment. ? Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance or rejection of inspected items. ? Document rejection descriptions on red tags / nonconforming material reports (NCMRs) and forward them to the appropriate parties for disposition. ? Support other QC areas as assigned, which may include electrical, welding, testing. ? Communicate inspection results and quality issues clearly to Quality and other departments. ? Other responsibilities as assigned. | |
