JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Production Associate for our client in Warrendale! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.00/Hour Shift:Monday-Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM). Occasional extended shifts may be required, with rare instances lasting until 8:00 PM. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Fresh Cut Production Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for processing, cutting, packaging, and preparing fresh vegetables and other food products for shipment and delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a cold, wet production environment, capable of performing physically demanding tasks, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and productivity. Work Environment Cold and wet production environment maintained between 34°F and 40°F year-round Frequent exposure to water, moisture, and refrigerated conditions Operation of electric pallet jacks following training Required use of steel toe, composite toe, or safety slip- and water-resistant boots Fast-paced production setting with daily production goals Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process fresh-cut vegetables and other food products according to customer orders and production schedules Cut, portion, package, and label products accurately for next-day delivery Prepare and stage finished products for shipment Maintain product quality and freshness standards throughout the production process Accurately follow work instructions, specifications, and production requirements Safely operate equipment, including electric pallet jacks, after training Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with inventory handling and product movement as needed Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math and arithmetic skills Ability to work in a refrigerated environment for the duration of the shift Ability to safely work around sharp cutting instruments and equipment Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Minimum 1 year of warehouse, production, or food processing experience Previous experience handling produce or working in a food production facility Experience operating material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds Ability to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and twist throughout the workday Stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment Key Competencies Attention to detail Teamwork and cooperation Dependability and accountability Commitment to safety and quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and take direction | |
