SIGN ON BONUS - $250 after 30 days - ADDITIONAL $750 sign on bonus at 6 months!!! (Total of $1,000 of a sign on bonus!) We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Precision Hydraulic Assembly Technician to assemble small, complex hydraulic components and equipment used in aerospace, defense, and space applications. These products are built to meet demanding quality and performance standards, as they may be used in environments where reliability and safety are critical. This position works in a collaborative, small-cell manufacturing environment rather than a traditional assembly line. Team members work closely together in groups of approximately two to three people, communicating, troubleshooting, and assembling precision components. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow blueprints and detailed work instructions, and a commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Assemble small, complex hydraulic components and equipment according to blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions. Use hand tools, test stand equipment, and other assembly tools to complete precision assembly tasks. Interpret blueprints and technical documentation to ensure components are assembled accurately and meet specifications. Perform detailed, hands-on work requiring manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail. Identify assembly issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply critical thinking to determine appropriate solutions. Work collaboratively with a small team in a cell-based manufacturing environment to meet production goals and quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members, provide and receive direction, and adapt to changing priorities. Follow established safety procedures, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Required Skills and Qualifications At least 2 years of mechanical aptitude or hands-on mechanical experience, which may include: Small-scale precision or technical assembly. Building or repairing small, complex objects or equipment. Working with electrical components, switchboards, pumps, motors, or similar mechanical systems. General labor or installation work involving measurements, calculations, and the use of tools. Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, or detailed work instructions. Blueprint-reading experience must be evident on the resume. Ability to use hand tools and test stand equipment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Self-motivated, dependable, goal-oriented, and adaptable. Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment, including giving and receiving constructive feedback and direction. Willingness to learn new processes, adjust to changing priorities, and collaborate respectfully with coworkers.
