CorTech is seeking to hire a RN Emergency Dept for our client in Oklahoma City, OK! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $55.17/Hour This is a nights position, but candidates MAY be scheduled for 1p-1a/3p-3/1 on occasion. Shift night Shifts per week 3 Hours per shift 12 EXPERIENCE Years of Experience Two Years Plus Specialties ER - required CERTIFICATIONS Certifications BLS - required TNCC - required ACLS - required PALS - required NIHSS - required DESCRIPTION Unit: Emergency Department Specialty: ER / RN Shift: 3x12 [36 hours] Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act, Client Code of Conduct, Client Mission and Values and Client Service Standards. Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing. Possess a current RN licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date. ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications is required. Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in their area of responsibility. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Lift and push patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. Usually work in a clean, air-conditioned area. Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: computer, all equipment currently used in the ETC. | |
