Cortech is partnered with local injection molding company that specializes in the production of high-quality plastic products for the medical industry. We are currently seeking a Production Lead for our 2nd shift team contract to hire position. Ability to work on 2nd shift (4PM to 12PM) and some overtime when necessary. Job Summary: The Production Lead will be responsible for supervising the production team and ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This position reports directly to the Production Manager. Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the 2nd shift production team, including machine operators, assemblers, and inspectors. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and identify and address any safety issues that arise. Coordinate production schedules and ensure that all production targets are met. Monitor production processes to ensure that they are running efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to production team members to improve performance and ensure that all team members are adequately trained. Work with the Production Manager to implement process improvements and ensure that all production processes are in compliance with company standards. Perform administrative duties such as maintaining production records and completing production reports. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training is a plus. 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment is preferred. Experience with SAP or other manufacturing software is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Ability to work on 2nd shift (4PM to 12PM) and some overtime when necessary.
