CorTech is seeking to hire an Electro/Mechanical Technician for our client in This employer requires all employees, temporary labor, consultants, and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Benefits Available! Pay Rate - $ 1st Shift: Flexible start time, but no later tham 7am Job Description Technician will be required to perform the following: Conduct electrostatic discharge (ESD) testing of chairs, workbenches, and ESD wrist straps, conduct air quality tests for airborne particulates using specialized equipment on a moment's notice, test and record the results of air flow in clean hoods, explosive proof hoods, and paint spray booths. Responsible for conducting area safety inspections. Accuracy is paramount. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Electro/static discharge measurement and controls is beneficial. Heavy recordkeeping/organizational skills. Required Education, Experience, and Skills High school graduate with 3-5 years of related work experience. 3-5 years of successful experience in light industrial/office/lab settings and in a non-hazardous environment Precise, accurate, and timely record keeping abilities a must. Must be able to climb ladders for brief periods potentially multiple times per day. Desired Education and Skills Associate degree a plus. Electro/static discharge measurement and controls is beneficial. | |
