With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to integrate the newly acquired products into Client operations/manufacturing.

About the role:

As a Staff Mechanical Engineer in our Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering to solve both novel and complex assignments that require the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

Knowledge of 3D CAD, Solidworks, and Engineering Change Order Process.
Lead activities such as bench studies, tolerance stack up analysis, design verification, validation, vendor interactions, materials specifications and component specifications.
Independently manages and prioritizes projects, tracks progress toward overall goals, and provides periodic updates to management.
Design and develop fixtures and equipment components required to meet process goals from concept to implementation.
Reviews assembly process instructions and makes updates to improve repeatability and standard work.
Develops test plans, DOEs and verification & validation test protocols, generate BOMs.
 Executes protocols and writes reports to ensure equipment/processes meet assembly specifications and regulatory requirements.
Performs failure analysis and determines root cause. Designs and validates product enhancements to improve product reliability.
Guide multi-function teams comprising of QA, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Manufacturing team members by facilitating effective communication and engagement.
Follow through on transfer of new products into manufacturing, track issues in manufacturing and the field, and implement resolution of issues.
Champion design for reliability and design for manufacturing for in-house and strategic partner developed designs.
Effectively present and communicate analysis to project teams and management, driving decisions and conclusions.

To be successful in this role, you require:

Experience working with external development partners or contract manufacturers.
Proven track-record of new product introduction and transfer or integration.
Sustaining engineering role that has aspects of project management and/or project engineering.
Experience as a leader in a highly-focused team environment on a large development project.

Education and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering plus 10 years related experience, or the equivalent in appropriate education and experience.
Strong background in product design lifecycle and overall product technical transfer to manufacturing
Experience with Tolerance analysis. 2D drawing generation, GD&T and 3D CAD modelling.
PMP Certification, desired. BD04123JD
