CorTech is seeking to hire a IT Project Coordinator for our client in Camden, NJ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $75.18/Hour Job Summary: Responsible for managing project teams that develops and implements infrastructure components, systems and applications which support the automation of business processes. Ensures the delivery of information technology projects meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives. Primary Responsibilities: Primary project management responsibility, including financial/budget management and control of project costs. Manage Information Technology projects following standard IT Product Lifecycle project management methodology. Major project activities managed include concept and business case development, solution selection, design and implementation of business- driven technology solutions. Responsible for new technology and new process implementations, including strategy development and implementation. Provides daily work direction for internal project resources across multiple cross functional groups including contractors and consultants. Provides coaching and mentoring for project leads and project team. Works closely with resource managers to set clear expectations and roles for project team members, monitor progress and review/report on results. Fosters and maintains relationships with clients, colleagues and team. Maintains relationships with key technology and outsourcing vendors adhering to standard vendor management guidelines and practices. Responsible for vendor procurement including vendor negotiations and contract development Qualifications: Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or other related discipline Project Management experience with PMP certification Solid understanding of IT systems to include mainframe, middleware, UNIX/WINTEL server, desktop, software, applications, information protection, storage, network, web and emerging technologies. Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of PMI?s project management methodology and best practices Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Project. Working knowledge of using SAP for project related processes including procurement, capital management and reporting. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting. Thorough knowledge of using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint. Optionally, familiarity with Microsoft Visio. Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. a candidate in their PMP/PMI certification would be helpful too. | |
