CorTech is seeking to hire a QA Operator for our client in Hicksville, NY! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $19.00/Hour Shift Times: Mon - Fri, 10pm -7am. Some Saturdays required depending on workload demands Description: Required Qualifications & Experience: ? High School Diploma or GED ? 6 + months quality assurance or lab experience in food, or related manufacturing operations. Summary / Objective: The QA Operator will be responsible to liaise with Operations to ensure a safe wholesome finished product, which meets our customer?s specifications. This is accomplished by conforming to all standards within the Client Quality Management Systems. Percentage of Job/ Essential Job Functions ? Monitor activities to ensure compliance to all standards of LQMS. ? Work with QA Supervisor, Leads and Staff to foster and develop programs to assist all employees in the completion of their duties, especially regarding Quality. ? Works Plant wide to ensure that product integrity, from a microbiological and analytical standpoint, is protected ? Utilize laboratory supplies/items relating to plant sanitation/safety ? Able to multi-task in fast paced environment with limited supervision ? Effective written and oral communication skills ? Ability to work alone as well as with a team ? Extremely attentive to detail ? Analytical problem solving / root cause analysis skills Minimum General Requirements ? 18 years or older ? High School diploma or GED-equivalent ? Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements ? Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment ? Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present ? Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime Preferred Education and Experience ? 1 plus years? Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a Dairy or related food plant manufacturing operations ? Associates Degree in Science related field ? Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility Travel Required ? N/A Other Duties ? As assigned | |
