CorTech is seeking to hire a Business Services Coordinator for our client in Hartford, CT!

Pay rate: 20.34


JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to perform duties of moderate complexity and difficulty in accordance with the office procedures of individual departments. Coordinate and assist Manager with oversight of multiple client conference centers and meeting spaces. Ability to work independently to plan and accomplish goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist CBRE?s Executive Event Manager as required to complete turnkey success of various meetings and events by collaborating with CBRE facilities, client contacts, audio-visual staff, catering and building operations.

Recommend and provide time-critical solutions as needed for conference servicing needs in a fluctuating and evolving environment.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Successful candidate must be detail oriented, with crucial time-management effectiveness.

Moderate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and database applications) with quick-study response to meeting management software. Assist with data administration for client needs.

Ability to work well across all levels of the client organization, including C-suite management, internal and external partners and vendors.

Skilled in handling multiple tasks simultaneously, focus on details, handle pressure, and make logistical decisions independently.

Maintain high level of client service and satisfaction. Contribute to CBRE?s success in achieving Travelers account KPI expectations with client and event management staff, outside vendors and internal staff.

May communicate with internal and external clients to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.

May complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments.

May perform technical duties such as working with multi-media software, setting up Audio Visual equipment, initiating video conferences, or operating phones or the Internet.

May answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.

May maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.

May compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.

May review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.

Other duties may be assigned.
